Terminus individual fountain

Terminus individual fountain

This silver plated individual dripper sat on top of a glass, sugar was placed in the bottom and then it was filled with water which dripped through the small holes in the bottom. It bears advertising for Terminus absinthe.

Perrenod brouille

This unusual device was designed to fit over a glass with the central tube extending down towards the absinthe. Water was poured into the reservoir at the top (with a cube of sugar, if desired) and it slowly filled the glass from the bottom up. The idea was to protect the bouquet of the absinthe.

Sugar jar

Sugar jar

This large sugar jar uses the same glass reservoir and metal lid as a common design of absinthe fountain
